What I Like

  • Bamboo Fiber Made
  • Diswasher Safe

What I Don't Like

  • Not Microwave safe

I've really like this type of bowl. It is one of those kitchen things that you can rely on for everything. This particular one has been made from Bamboo fibers and corn starch. It means that almost all of the component of the bowl are natural and eco-friendly. Natural fibers like bamboo are an interesing sustainable option these days.

The bowl is 9.8 Inches large and it holds a capacity of 108oz. You can use the bowl for different things and it can also be stored at cold temperatures, so it is fridge safe. It is not recommended for microwaves though, as many of the bamboo fiber made artefacts. But, good news it is totally dishwasher safe.

What I Like

  • Glass made
  • Different sizes

What I Don't Like

  • Might not be the best if you are only looking for one bowl for food

This is a full set of Bowls for food that might save your days as it saved mines. The whole set includes 18 pieces of glass food storage containers. There are nine containers plus nine glass locking lids. The smaller container fit inside the bigger ones, this becomes super handy if you do not have a big cupboard to store your containers.

I've realized that the locking lids are great to carry you lunch to the office or the uni. Because it prevents the bowl from leaking, speacially if you are a fan soup like me. The lids are compatible with the glass container in order that it makes the bowl more airtight. Also, these containers are suitable for oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. You can even cook in these containers and that is one of the things that I like most about them.

One of the downsides that I've found is that the silicone around the lids might become looser if exposed to heat, so I wouldn't place the lids inside a dishwasher.

Extra? The full set is BPA FREE because the containers are made out of high-borosilicate glass for easy heating and durability. Non-porous glass, Free of Harmful Chemicals. The different sizes allow me to store any food I want and carry it around if I need to.

What I Like

  • Recyclable

What I Don't Like

  • Not reusable

I am not a huge fan of paper containers, and there are two reasons why I am not. The first one is because any paper container is not reusable, so once you've used it, you need to chop it out. And the second one is because sometimes paper container leaks. But the reason why I'm recommending these ones is because they are pretty amazing.

If you do not have reusable containers, this could be a great choice for Bowls for food. The pack comes with 125 Paper Bowls. You can use them to serve cereal, or soups and they will not desintegrate from the heat or wet. Each bowl is 12 oz.

I like the fact that they are made 100% from Sugarcane Fiber: a Sustainable, Renewable, and Biodegradable Material. This is a great Alternative to Traditional Paper or Plastic, the Disposable Bowl Offers the same Sturdy Function and Easy Cleanup.

Tree and plastic free, there you go!

This Product is sustainable certified and is Intended to be composted once it has been used. You can use it for hot or cold foods. The fact that it doesn't contain plastic or tree material means that it won't melt with hot foods.

What I Like

  • Compostable
  • Includes lid

What I Don't Like

  • Not colors available

Even though these look like ordinary plastic containers, they are not. You can find these type of containers in any sustainable take away shop around. They come in the perfect size to place a salad or make a poke bowl in it. The lids seal tight on the container, making it a safe choice for oily or over moisturized foods.

What I really liked is that they have been made from renewable resources and they are fully compostable. You just need to find a facility where they can compost this type of material. Another thing that I really liked is that you can pick from three different sizes. So, the bowl will fill your needs.

If could choose one container for a shop or a take away restaurant, this wold be one of the options that I would be looking at. When it comes to having them in my house, I would always choose one reusable one. But let's be honest, some of the reusable bowls for food are truly heavy to carry around. So I kind of know what people are dealing with at this point.

I've found this container is a really good option and it allows you to fit a pretty decent amount of food in it.

Now I've showed you my favorite Plant-Based Recipes for Dinner and my favorite Bowls for food to store them. Have you chosen yours?
